When Is Coffee Bad For You?
June 10, 2023

Studies confirmed that moderate coffee intake is linked to a lower chance of developing disease like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, liver and endometrial cancers, and depression. Coffee at some point may even reduce the risk of mortality. And a moderate amount of daily coffee is still pretty generous at two to five cups a day.
What does it do?
Coffee is best known as a natural stimulant. The caffeine content gives people energy and keeps them alert throughout the day. It is also confirmed that caffeine helps in keeping you awake and that it also reduces the chance of having depression.
Your morning brew is stated to contain lots of antioxidants that have been found to fight inflammation and helps protect your body against some diseases. Studies have suggested that some of the same reductions in diabetes and heart disease risk are associated with decaffeinated coffee, which means it’s not just the caffeine.
However, the way you take your coffee matters…

Experts suggest that drip/pour-over coffee is the best way to prepare a cup of coffee, it filters compounds called diterpenes that raises the levels of bad cholesterol or LDL.
Too much caffeine can cause health problems such as:
- Restlessness and shakiness.
- Insomnia.
- Headaches.
- Dizziness.
- Fast heart rate.
- Dehydration.
- Anxiety.
- Digestive issues

Just like any food out there, coffee offers a lot of health benefits and will only be bad if taken too much in huge amounts.
What Else?
Important Reminder: Any type of food supplement is not a medicine and cannot be used as a medicine for any type of disease.
